Malume Productions — Terms & Conditions

1.Satisfaction, Late Delivery & Refund Policy

Remedy for dissatisfaction or late delivery

If the final delivered content does not meet the client's expectations, or if delivery occurs after the deadline stated in the client's booked plan, the client must notify Malume Productions in writing (email accepted) within 30 calendar days of receiving the final project. Subject to this notification, Malume Productions will:

• Refund 60% of the total project fee to the client, and
• Issue a 25% discount voucher valid for the client's next booking with Malume Productions.

This refund and discount constitute the sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction and/or late delivery. Malume Productions is under no obligation to re-edit, revise, or otherwise alter the final project at any time.

Complaints after 30 days

If a client raises any complaint after the 30-day period has expired, the final project is deemed accepted and satisfactory. In such cases:

• Malume Productions has no responsibility to address the complaint.
• No refunds, credits, or corrections will be offered.
• Any desired changes or new work will require a completely new booking at full cost, subject to a new quotation.

2.Footage Storage

• Complimentary storage (30 days): Malume Productions will retain all raw footage, project files, and transferred client content for a minimum of 30 calendar days following delivery of the final project, at no additional cost.
• Extended storage (24 months): Clients may purchase a 24-month storage solution for a once-off fee of R1 500.00. This must be arranged and paid for before the initial 30-day period expires.
• Deletion: Once the applicable storage period (30 days or 24 months if purchased) lapses, Malume Productions may permanently delete all stored content without further notice.

3.Monetization

• Ownership: 100% of all monetization rights and revenue generated from content produced by Malume Productions belong to the client.
• Advisory & setup services: Malume Productions agents will advise clients on monetization strategies and may, upon request, manually set up monetization measures. This includes connecting client-owned accounts to ensure payments from monetized platforms flow directly to the client.
• No collection responsibility: Malume Productions is not responsible for collecting, holding, or managing any earnings on behalf of the client. All payments from monetized platforms are strictly between the client and the platform.

4.Payment Terms

• Quotation approval: Services are confirmed when the client approves the quotation via email or telephonic communication as confirmed by a Malume Productions agent. This approval constitutes a binding agreement.
• Negotiation: If the client objects to the quoted fee, the Malume Productions agent will engage with the client to re-evaluate the project costing. Only once both parties agree on the revised cost will the project proceed.
• Payment method: The full quoted fee must be paid into the Malume Productions business bank account. The client must use their name and contact number as the payment reference.
• Banking details: The business account details will be provided on the quotation document issued by the Malume Productions agent.
• Commencement of work: No work will begin until full payment has been received and cleared.

5.Advertising Placement Clause

For all podcast edits requested under the Basic Video Editing Package, Malume Productions reserves the right to include promotional advertisements, branding, or service-related marketing material within the edited content.

Clients may opt out of this advertising placement feature only when booking any of the following services or packages:

• Advanced Video Editing Package
• Pro Video Editing Package
• Any Recording Services

By selecting the Basic Video Editing Package, the client acknowledges and agrees to the inclusion of such promotional material as part of the delivered content.
